A Cacao Ceremony followed by Journaling & Light Vegan Dinner

Natalie Amar ~ the passionate owner of The Mind Body Heart Studio and I AM FOODS Organic Superfood Brand. With more than 15 years experience in Personal Training, Pilates and all things wellness she loves nothing more than creating beautiful experiences where people can be reminded that their Mind, their Body and their Heart is their true home. She believes that by realigning our personal wellness we can collectively care for the wellbeing of our planet and create a better future of wholesome health.

Since 2008, Willow and Catherine Francis have been working with plant medicine’s in ceremony.

Initially, their work with cacao was focused on its health benefits for the physical body. It is profoundly nutritious and Willow and Catherine, with their medical backgrounds, were excited to work more closely with this food medicine and share their discoveries with others. They started running Chocolate Therapy Workshops and hosted these educational and playful events for many years!

Early on however, it became clear that Cacao was more, much more than just a delicious and nutritious food. They began to feel subtle shifts within themselves – a more buoyant playfulness, a deeper experience of gratitude, a looking towards compassion and forgiveness more directly, a sense of internal latitude and worthiness as well as a commitment to cultivating other refined qualities of humanity – such as dignity and an understanding of the strength of an unwavering open heart. 

They became certain that they could develop a relationship with cacao in ceremony as we continued to do with other plant medicines.

They were right. They spent some time in Guatemala with a facilitator who had been working with cacao in ceremony for decades. This provided the foundation, and then they allowed outheirr relationship with cacao as well as our medical and ceremonial experience to guide the unfolding of the Cacao Ceremony that has now been running continuously since 2010.

• This ticket is non-refundable, but can be moved once if required to the next Cacao Ceremony up to one week prior to the event. Cancellations closer to the day can be moved to the next ceremony if we can fill the place.
